I read the manual on your site. The rule on the definition of a country is essentially the following:
"Country: The country where the labels (i.g. the banana) is from".
The rule is not strictly defined, and I will try to explain my point of view. The name of the country is often indicated on the sticker. This name indicates strictly the country of origin of the fruit (in our case, bananas) and nothing more. But we collect fruit labels. We do not collect fruit. Therefore, collectors often confuse the country of origin of fruit and the origin of labels.
Specific example. There is a big 100% -Russian fruit company "SoyuzProdContract, SPC" involved in banana business. The company has the brand "ARTES" well known to collectors of banana stickers. Naturally, the company buys tens of thousands of tons of bananas in Ecuador, orders the manufacture of boxes and stickers there in Ecuador, in Ecuador partner companies bananas are grown, processed, packaged and transported to Russia.
The stickers of the SPC company contain the name of the country of origin of the banana "Ecuador", the logo of the company "SPC", web link, brand "ARTES", Russian inscriptions for Russian buyers, Soviet and Russian symbols, dedications to national festivities (for example, "С Новым Годом!", "23 Февраля", "8 Марта", "12 Апреля", "1 Мая" and "9 Мая"), etc. Bananas with such stickers are sold by SPC company mainly in Russia.
It does not matter what typography issued these stickers. Owner of labels is SoyuzProdContract –SPC.
Nevertheless, in your catalog, these stickers are labeled as: "Origin: Ecuador"
Why? Just because they were printed and pasted in Ecuador onto Ecuadorian bananas?
In fact, in your catalog stickers are attributed to the country in which bananas were grown.
Excuse me, please, but this is not very correct for the catalog, in my opinion.

Hi and happy new year to every collector!

This is an interesting discussion and I realize, that we do not talk enough about our common catalog of banana labels. We have started a documentation (http://banana-label-catalog.org/content/manual) to write down the rules and we have got there a section, how to describe a banana label (http://banana-label-catalog.org/content/how-describe-banana-label). And - it is funny to read - there are also some sentences about the country (http://banana-label-catalog.org/content/country).

So far it describes what is written at the label, what the farm number says or information from the banana box. But I like to point out, that this are our own rules. If we in our group of collectors decide to change it, we can do it. Everybody is invited to join the discussion what we like to document! Please say how we like to organize our catalog.

Excuse me, but I did not understand!
ArmEc Trading LLC is localised and registered in Armenia;
its address: Hrazdan Gorge, 4/1 Building, Yerevan, 0082, Armenia;
company has at least two own brands: ArmEc and "Арцах" which are posted on banana stickers thus marking own produce purchased by company;
company have importing bananas batches from Ecuador and sell those produce in Armenia and in neighbore countries;
the incomes and taxes go to Armenia.
All this information easy to get from open and clear web-sources.
So I did not understand why "ArmEc" labels should be considered as originating from Ecuador?
What are the rules (in catalog, I mean) of identification of country of label origin? Please, tell me where may I read them?

I think it is correct to have the country of origin EC for all labels of the ARMenia ECuador Trading company. However I've added Armenia to the country list in the case you have other banana labels or promotions that are produced there. Do you agree?

And the links are helpful to get background information about this brand. There are some pictures of the banana boxes and the former - white - label of ArmEc sticking on bananas.

I did not know that the Armenian alphabet has got such a wonderful letters

Thank you, Michael. It's Ok. I added two links directly to the web-resources of the company. Unfortunately in the list of countries there is no Armenia and while the labels "ArmEc" are labeled as Ecuadorian stickers.

Thank you Leonid. I took this text and the weblink to the description of the brand. Please check here: http://banana-label-catalog.org/catalog/32975-armec. With the EDIT tap at the top you can change the text if you like.

At this position you can format the text / description of the brand, like you can do it in articles. However you and other collectors can add background information of the brand also in the comment of a label. I only like to say, there is a function in this catalog to add formatted text to each catalog entry.

Does this look nice?

This label and others with "ArmEc" inscription are Armenian. Here is citation from web-source:
https://eadaily.com/ru/news/2017/05/30/armyanskaya-kompaniya-stala-posrednikom-mezhdu-ekvadorom-i-stranami-eaes
"... The Armenian company "ArmEc Trading" conquers the Eurasian market.
... on the Armenian counters you can find Ecuadorian bananas, and imported already with Armenian markings. It turned out that bananas marked "ArmEc Trading" are already imported to Kazakhstan... ...The president of "ArmEc Trading" Vardan Harutyunyan noted that their goal is to cover the entire market of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as to enter the markets of neighboring countries - Iranian ... and Georgian markets..."
