I found this one today at the "Wholesale Market Fruit No. 2" in Lima on bananas. So I can give some background information. Please check my pictures at the Gallery to get an impression.

A.) At the market they sell whole boxes of every kind of fruits to fruit shops. The market is very, very huge and has roughly the size of 4 football places.
B.) They usually put one box of the fruits in front of their store and add the SELECTA label. They usually do it on any kind of fruits, not only on bananas.
C.) The boxes with the labels are not sold to the fruit shops

What I have to say:

• It is not garanteed that all of our different SELECT labels are used on bananas. This would be pure coincidence.
• The labels are used to impress the fruits buyers of fruit shops and are not used for end customers
• Just to stick a home made label on very few bananas does not convert it to a banana label. For me this has nothing to do with BANANALABELS.
