This rare label was issued by

This rare label was issued by the Jamaica Producers Ltd in the 1930‘s. The name „Empire“ is a hint that Jamaica belonged to the British Empire back then. Bananas from Jamaica or other British colonies like the Cameroons were referred to as „Empire Bananas“. The label reminds of a stamp, with water soluble glue in the back.
